Big big big mistake. I don't want to be an English major anymore, but I don't have the luxury of time and money to change my mind at this point. Really and truly, I just want to be done with school, so at this point I degree in 3rd degree ass-hattery would be acceptable. I have been perusing city and state jobs, the ones where all you have to have is a degree from a 4 year institution, and be okay with a drastically less than stellar salary.
So far jobs that I am looking at:
DHS person (whenever I go to the DHS office, the caseworkers always look like some of the saddest sack badly dressed people in the world)
Probation Officer-
Okay, that's all I got.

Ack, this is totally why I dropped out of college a mere three credits before earning my degree.

Thanks for the support! I have to finish or everyone will kill me. Although death sometimes seems like a pretty valid option, graduating seems pretty f'ing awesome too.
Just dropping by, saw your link on knoxville mommies. I was an English major too, but at the end, I chose the technical communication concentration, and that gave me a few better options, though I still ended up teaching and hating it.
